Importance of Predictive Maintenance Model

Equipment and machinery, especially sea-based ones, are most often subject to failures, defects and unnecessary repairs. Maintaining them is hard work, especially repairing broken ones.

Thinking proactively, what it would look like if we tried to eliminate unplanned failures and ultimately inflated repair costs with early detection of equipment failures while the equipment is still functioning properly.
